Short version: Convsta does not collect, store, or transmit any of your data. Every tool runs entirely inside your browser. Nothing you type or paste ever leaves your device.

1. Overview

Convsta ("we", "us", or "our") operates the website https://convsta.com/ and all tools hosted on it. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our developer tools. Because all processing happens client-side in your browser, our data practices are exceptionally simple: we collect almost nothing.

2. No Personal Data Collection

We do not collect, process, or store any personal information including:

Text, code, or data you enter into any tool (JSON, SQL, passwords, tokens, etc.)
Your name, email address, or contact information
IP addresses stored longer than standard server log retention
Browser fingerprints or device identifiers
Browsing history or behavioral data

3. How Our Tools Work

All 19 Convsta tools are built with vanilla HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. When you use a tool:

Processing happens entirely in your browser's JavaScript engine
No API calls are made to Convsta servers with your input
Data stays in your browser tab's memory and is discarded when you close or navigate away
The cURL/HTTP Client tool sends requests directly from your browser to the URL you specify — not through any Convsta proxy

4. Third-Party Libraries (CDN)

Some tools load open-source JavaScript libraries from CDN providers (jsDelivr). These requests may expose your IP address to CDN servers, which is standard behavior for any website that loads external resources. The libraries we use are:

sql-formatter (MIT license) — SQL formatting
Day.js (MIT license) — date and time operations
marked + DOMPurify (MIT license) — Markdown rendering
cronstrue (MIT license) — cron expression parsing
chroma.js (BSD-3 license) — color utilities
jsdiff (MIT license) — text diffing
qrcode.js (MIT license) — QR code generation

These libraries perform no data collection. They are loaded once and cached by your browser.

5. Analytics

We may use privacy-respecting, cookie-free analytics to understand aggregate traffic patterns (e.g., page view counts, most-used tools). This data is anonymized and never tied to an individual user. No cookies are set for analytics purposes.

6. Advertising

Convsta may display advertisements served by Google AdSense or similar networks. These ad networks may use cookies or similar technologies to serve relevant ads. You can opt out of personalized advertising through Google's Ad Settings or by using your browser's privacy controls. The content you enter into Convsta tools is never shared with ad networks.

7. Cookies

Convsta itself does not set any cookies. Third-party scripts (analytics, advertising) may set their own cookies subject to their respective privacy policies.

8. Children's Privacy

Convsta is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of Convsta after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
